Note: For those Austrian agencies that used an inventory number
the highest number recorded to date is indicated within [brackets].
Exceptions have been found and are discussed on the web page
specific to that agency and/or state.
Carbines with German agency markings were purchased
from Bavaria by the Austrian Gendarmerie in 1956.
