Inventory number 0256 that is indicated on bottom of trigger housing, is also stamped in the slingwell. It also appears on a sticker attached to the buttplate. U.S. Ordnance crossed cannons on right side of stock. AAU stamped in left side of stock is indicative of a U.S. Ordnance rebuild inspection mark by the U.S. Ordnance Augusta Arsenal. Paper taped to bottom of hand grip indicates the letters STA (unknown meaning).
