Stock is in excellent overall condition with an oval sling cut and high wood. Stock slingwell has both the entire serial number and the last 4 digits of the receiver serial number. Bottom of handguard has the entire serial number. Tape with the rank GRyi and the name Josef Warter obscures the stock manufacturer marking in the slingwell. Tape with the name Kendlbacher Erich on the right side of the stock may obscure the presence of Ordnance markings.

Firing Pin | type | W (Winchester) |
The last 3 digits of the receiver serial number have been stamped into the bolt twice, one above the other. The lower 3 digits have been stamped over what appears to have been / 2 /. The 3 digits stamped in the bolt is consistent with what has been observed on other carbines used by the Bavaria Rural Police, but the / 2 / is unusual. The last 4 digits of the receiver serial number are electropenciled on the bolt. This was done by the Bavarial Rural Police even if the 3 digit number was stamped in the bolt. It was also done by the Austria Gendarmerie if it had not already been done.
