This carbine appears in the Centerfire Systems catalog dated 06/08/1995 and sold by January 1996 for $324.97. Centerfire Systems obtained their M1 carbines direct from INTRAC after INTRAC imported them from Austria.
Of interest is the bottom of the trigger housing has the numbers 0139 in the common size and type used by the Austrian Gendarmerie as an inventory number, but no letter initials identifying the carbine was used by the Gendarmerie. The trigger housing does not have the usual last 4 digits of the receiver serial number stamped on the rear at the top.
