BackgroundPurchased March 2007 from Simpsons Ltd of IL. In typical excellent condition, no sling/oiler with rifle.Centerfire Systems of Versailles, KY listed this carbine for sale in their catalog dated 7/20/1995 for $324.97. The carbine does not appear in their next catalog dated 01/1996, meaning it was sold during that period of time. Centerfire Systems obtained this and other carbines direct from INTRAC. Centerfire's first catalog dated 6/8/1995 does not list this carbine, indicating it was received from INTRAC probably sometime in June or July of 1995. Centerfire's inventory list description of the stock, barrel, barrel band, and trigger housing marking are consistent with the below configuration. Accompanied by the matching last 4 digits of the receiver serial number on the bolt, stock, handguard, trigger housing, and slide it appears this carbine has retained the same configuration as when it was used by the Austrians.
Barrel Group
Last 4 digits of receiver serial number on slide. "INTRAC Knox TN" import mark roughly hand engraved on bottom of barrel behind front sight.
Stock Group
Last 4 digits of receiver serial number in slingwell and inside handguard.
Receiver Group
Receiver marked SG left side at front.
Bolt Group
Bolt has last 4 digits of receiver serial number electro-penciled on top.
Trigger Group
Trigger guard has last 4 digits of serial number on rear "T", bottom of trigger housing forward of trigger guard is stamped LGKNÖ with 1977 underneath the letters. The 1977 is the inventory number assigned by the Austrians.
