Returned to the U.S. Army by the government of Austria. Provided to the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), by the U.S. Army.
Examined at CMP, prior to the armorers.
This carbine has been buffed to a high polish, removing some of the GI markings. It has the number 9 stamped in the slingwell, handguard, slide,
barrel band lug, barrel band spring, and bolt. The receiver has no Bavaria markings, and no evidence they were removed.
