National Postal Meter did not manufacture their own barrels. The Buffalo Arms barrel is one of several they used. Importer mark for Century Arms St Albans, VT on barrel. Slide does not have any numbers stamped or etched on it.

Stock Group

Stock is a beautiful high wood with an oval sling cut. Stock and handguard have no numbers stamped on them. Web sling grommet has Zieh Heir imprinted. In German this means "Pull Here".

City crest of Mannheim is absent from the left side of receiver ring. Top of receiver behind bolt and below serial number has been buffed and/or polished. Metal below serial number indicates some has been removed. This is typical of markings that have been removed.
